Sarah Kass Harari, LPC

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Houston, Texas, providing therapy for adults navigating trauma, grief, pregnancy and postpartum experiences, life transitions, and patterns that may feel difficult to understand or change. Many of the people I work with are highly capable in their daily lives while privately carrying stress, emotional exhaustion, grief, anxiety, self-doubt, or a sense of disconnection from themselves.

My style is collaborative, grounded, and relational. I believe therapy works best when there is enough safety and trust to explore difficult experiences honestly, without feeling rushed, judged, or reduced to a diagnosis. Together, we work to better understand the experiences, relationships, and internal patterns that may be shaping the way you move through the world.

I also understand that therapy does not happen in isolation. Culture, family history, community, identity, and current events can shape how we experience grief, trauma, safety, relationships, and belonging. For some people, that may include immigrant family dynamics, intergenerational expectations, inherited fears, or navigating multiple parts of identity at once.

My work is informed by evidence-based approaches including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), mindfulness and somatic approaches, and parts-informed work. I tailor therapy to each individual rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, recognizing that people process, cope, and heal differently.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my three children and two fur babies. I also enjoy traveling, reading, gardening, creative writing, and having my husband taste-test my newest baking creations. Whether or not he enjoys them remains to be seen.

Outside the Therapy Room

Outside of work, I value time with family, meaningful conversations, being outdoors, travel, and creating spaces that feel calm and grounding.

I believe healing often happens through small moments of connection, reflection, and feeling more fully present in our lives and relationships.

I offer a brief consultation call to answer questions and explore whether working together feels like a good fit.
