Many clients begin therapy with weekly sessions, especially at the beginning of the process or during periods of increased stress, transition, or emotional difficulty.
Over time, session frequency may shift depending on your needs, goals, schedule, and what feels most supportive and sustainable for you.

My practice focuses primarily on adults navigating trauma, grief, pregnancy and postpartum experiences, life transitions, and emotionally complex experiences across different stages of life.

Not at all. Some people begin therapy with a very clear sense of what they would like support with, while others arrive feeling emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or unsure why things feel difficult.
Part of the process can involve slowing down together and developing a clearer understanding of what feels emotionally important, unresolved, or difficult to navigate alone.

EMDR therapy can be helpful for trauma, anxiety, grief, distressing life experiences, or experiences that continue to feel emotionally overwhelming or difficult to move through. It can be especially helpful when past experiences still feel emotionally charged, even if you are not sure you would describe them as “traumatic.”
During our work together, we can explore whether EMDR is an appropriate fit based on your goals, history, and readiness for this type of therapy.
